FAQ

  • How old should my dog be to begin training?

No dog is too young or old to begin training! We recommend starting your new pup out as soon as possible at 8 weeks old. Have an older dog? The saying “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” holds no meaning here. We welcome and encourage you to train with your dog no matter their age!

  • What training package should I sign up for?

Visit our training page here to look over all of the courses we offer! If you still are unsure, click here to sign up for a consult to determine where your dog will fit best.

  • What is the difference between group classes and personal training?

Group classes occur spring through fall and are held in a park. You work with other dogs in a group setting to learn the course curriculum.

Personal training is a one on one setting at the location of your choosing. We can customize the package to fit you and your dogs needs.

  • Does Maligator Kennels offer boarding?

We are not offering boarding at this time. We hope to return with this feature soon!

  • What if my dog already knows some commands?

If your dog is able to pass off one of the levels of training, you can sign up for a consult here to see which course your dog will fit into.
