Obedience
More than ever, our personal packages are customized to the unique needs of your pack. Each training package will start with a video consultation for 30 to 45 minutes with Russ our Owner and Chief Training Officer. Consultations are not required for group classes or Freshman Obedience.
We’ll help design the best training path for you and your pup, and talk you through your package. As long as you sign up within a month of your consultation, the price of your consult goes toward your personal training package.
Freshman
Solidify the basics of obedience: sit, down, stay, heel, and come. This comprehensive course covers concepts of reinforcement, determining your dog's love languages, and learning how to get and keep your dog's attention.
Learn how to get your dog to listen the FIRST time you give a command, and how to hold tasks around distractions. Freshman obedience is fun and perfect for any dog, any age, any stage, who needs a challenge or to polish the fundamentals.

Sophomore
Build on your dog’s foundational obedience, increasing their impulse control, decreasing distractibility, and improving their ability to stay focused on tasks around distractions.
Enjoy walking your dog for long distances in a perfect, loose-leash heel, and recall them into their heeling position from a distance. Learn how to eliminate jumping, teaching your pup to sit calmly when meeting new friends.
This course will introduce the fundamentals of the “place” command, helping your dog gain a reliable stay on a bed or mat of your choice. Practice long distance stays around distractions, and learn the art of maintaining attention while other dogs are loose.

Junior
No treats? No leash? No problem.
Learn the techniques of variable rewards and leash dissociation to gain reliability with your dog in any setting.
Take your dog’s obedience to the next level with distanced commands. Learn how to send your dog away from your side to the “place” of your choice, and master lying down at a distance around distractions.
Develop practical applications for heeling with intense distractions, both on and off leash, and teach your pup to lie down in motion in a heel. Learn how to maintain attention while hiking, walking around the neighborhood, or exploring the river trail, to make your walks more enjoyable and build your bond with your dog.
This course builds on the foundational obedience from the Freshman and Sophomore courses, challenging your dog to follow each command the first time you ask, regardless of the temptations around them.
$600 - 5 SESSION PACKAGE
Senior
This elite obedience course is not for the faint of heart.
Master the art of down at a distance, down en route, wordless recall to a heel, and more. Teach your dog to switch between tasks at a distance. We’ll put your training to the test with two pack walk classes, where obedience meets the road. Create the ultimate bond with your dog as you refine your communication and compete in a series of team-building obstacles throughout this program.
Dogs who pass this course with no failed attempts gain the title of “Maligator Trained,” earning themselves a place on our Wall of Fame. Maligator Trained dogs have unique access to events, our community therapy program, and exclusive discount codes.
An e collar is required for this course, and must have been introduced by one of our trainers during the Junior obedience course. We recommend Dogtra, and will also use Garmin, E Collar Technologies Educator, or Sportdog. No other brands are currently accepted, as we strongly support quality electronic tools that are consistent and humane for your dog.
